dc.description.abstract | Single-particle settling velocities through waterfluidized
beds have been studied experimentally using
a standard fluidtzation column 40 mm in diameter.
All the particles used were spherical. The combinations
of conditions investigated are given in Table
1, while the particle characteristics are summarized
