Abstract
Single-particle settling velocities through waterfluidized beds have been studied experimentally using a standard fluidtzation column 40 mm in diameter. All the particles used were spherical. The combinations of conditions investigated are given in Table 1, while the particle characteristics are summarized in Table 2.
