Depolarization end point can glassy carbon electrodes: Microscale coulometry of thioglycollic acid
Abstract
An externally unpolarized twin couple of glassy carbon electrodes, undergoing different pretreatments, and connected to nothing but a recorder, was engaged for simple and fast end‐point detection of electrometric titrations of thioglycollic acid. Microquantities of this substance were determined coulometrically either by its neutralization or by an oxidometric mechanism using the same pair of glassy carbon electrodes in the indicator circuit.
