dc.description.abstractIn this work the effect o f toluene exposition on oxidative chemical species generation, metabolic alteration and protective effect of selenium were investigated. The disturbances in erythrocyte metabolism due to oxidative processes were studied by the use o f experimental animals. The alterations of some erythrocyte enzyme activities and antioxidative molecules were found in exposed to toluene. Also, the more intensive primary antioxidative response to oxidative stress and the protective effect of selenium was detected.sr
