The combination of thermoplastic and textile materials is achieving increasing application in practice. Literature sources indicate the rise o f 3D technology in this field. This paper introduces the methodology and technology o f 3D printing on different fabrics. Also, the potential opportunities (with obvious problems) o f 3D printing for the sustainable development o f the textile industry were highlighted. In realising the button model, PLA (Polylactic Acid) was used for 3D printing, while silk, viscose and polyamide were taken from the fabrics.sr
