dc.description.abstractCarbon black (Cabot Corporation) was activated using three different activators: sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide. The electrochemical activity of activated carbon black was investigated in acidic solution by cyclic voltammetry and linear sweep voltammetry. The effect of anodic potential limit on the activity and stability of activated carbon black electrode in the hydrogen evolution region was evident. The highest activitysr
