dc.description.abstract | Carbon black (Cabot Corporation) was activated using three different activators: sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide. The electrochemical activity of activated carbon black was investigated in acidic solution by cyclic voltammetry and linear sweep voltammetry.
