Abstract
The influence of the copper content in CuxCo3-xO4 (0 ≫ × ≫ 1) mixed oxides on carbon monoxide oxidation in the presence of SO2 was investigated. The average oxidation rate was found to increase very slowly with increasing x, whereas the resistance to SO2 poisoning increases substantially at values of x higher than 0.2.
