Methodology and design in production of ortodox golden crosses

Abstract

In Christianity the cross is principaly simbol of beleiving, representing the crusification of Christ and his pain for all. The methodology of making and design of cross primarly depends from the purpose: is the cross used as religious object, or monument, in lithurgy or as a jewel. So, the purpose is determining an adequate design of cross and than the methodology of production.
