Methodological fundamentals of research of Sensus Communis phenomena visual performance

Abstract

This paper focuses on the multidisciplinary subject of research, Sensus Communis, as a phenomenon that has occupied the attention of theorists, philosophers, and artists for centuries. Bearing in mind that visualizations of this phenomenon have different origins, features of the time from which they originate, as well as conceptualizations of artistic aesthetics, the question of choosing a methodological framework and basis for visualization research arises. Several significant case studies have been observed, from the time of Avicenna to the modern age, which have been examined comparatively and in relation to philosophical-theoretical concepts that could be thematized by subject visualizations.
