Abstract
Libija je zemlja bogata naftom i prirodnim gasom čije učešće u proizvodnji električne energije je preko 90%. Međutim, sve više su u upotrebi i obnovljivi izvori energije, kao što je energija vetra. U Libiji postoji ogromni potencijal za upotrebu energije vetra, a on je najveći u priobalnom delu. Ovim radom analizirana je brzina vetra radi upotrebe vetroturbina u ruralnim oblastima Libije.
Libya is a rich country with oil and natural gas which accounts for over 90% of the country's total electricity production. However, renewable energy sources, such as wind energy, are increasingly being used. In Libya there is a huge potential for the use of wind energy, which is largest in the coastal area. This paper analyzes wind velocity for the use of wind turbines in the rural regions of Libya.
