A new type of slow-wave PBG microstrip ring resonator
Abstract
A new type of microstrip ring resonator is introduced. In order to minimized dimensions the ring resonator is constructed like a PBG structure. The central frequency is 50% lower than in the conventional case. Additional coupling lines can be used for tuning band-pass losses and bandwidth of the filter.
