Modelling of thermopile-based MEMS sensors using analytical and numerical techniques

AB  - In this paper the thermoelectrical behavior of thermopile-based MEMS sensors is reported using analytical and numerical techniques. It is also shown that experimental results for specific sensors are in excellent agreement with simulation data obtained both with the self developed 1D analytical model as well as the commercial simulation software package CoventorWare. With the aid of the simulation tools optimization of sensor design and fabrication procedure can be achieved.

AB  - The paper presents and analyzes a new product CMTM's. Selection and evaluation of new products that will succeed in the market depends on the product development process and management companies. Development, testing and marketing a new product is certainly a big undertaking for a company. Production SMART transmitter is an example of how local companies can respond to the demands of competition in the domestic and foreign markets.
AB  - U radu su prikazani i analizirani novi proizvodi CMTM-a. Izbor novih proizvoda i ocena da će uspeti na tržištu zavisi od procesa razvoja samog proizvoda i menadžmenta preduzeća. Razvoj, ispitivanje i plasman novog proizvoda je svakako veliki poduhvat za jedno preduzeće. Proizvodnja SMART transmitera je primer kako domaća preduzeća mogu da odgovore na zahteve konkurenata na domaćem i stranim tržištima.

Micromachining by maskless wet anisotropic etching {hkl} structures on {100} oriented silicon

AB  - The paper presents investigation of micromechanical technique using 3D anisotropically etched Si structures. Ridge-like structure oriented along  LT 110> direction is first etched with mask following maskless etching in 25 wt. % TMAH solution in water at 80°C. The ridge structures investigated by maskless etching are convex prismatic edges included by {100} and {111} planes. Experimental results verify that the cutting planes developed at the ridge corners are {733} planes. From analytical relations applied to experiments, the ratio between the etching rates for the {733} (the fastest etching plane at the edge step) and {100} planes is found.
