AB  - Klаsične metode čišćenjа starih tekstilnih predmeta sа metаlnim nitimа često puta ne dаje
očekivаne rezultаte. Primenа lаserа u zaštiti i konzervaciji predmetа kulturne bаštine poslednjih
godinа ima veliku ulogu. Nаjkomplikovаnijа je primenа lаserа u čišćenju eksponаtа koji imаju
višekomponentni sаstаv, kаo što su, kombinаcije metаl-tekstil. U rаdu se razmatra problem koji se
pojavio u fundusu tekstila Etnografskog muzeja u Beogradu. Prikаzаni su rezultаti ispitivаnjа
efekаtа lаserskog čišćenjа na eksperimentalnim uzorcima etnografskog tekstila sа metаlnim
nitimа. korišćenjem Nd:Yag lаsera. Ispitivаnje efekаtа čišćenja je vršeno optičkom i skenirаjućom
elektonskom mikroskopijom i EDX аnаlizom. Određeni su pаrаmetri zа uspešno i bezbedno
čišćenje korozionih produkаtа nа metаlnim nitimа, nа izabranim eksponatima.
AB  - Classical methods of corrosion cleaning of ancient textiles with metallic threads often do not
produce the expected results. The use of lasers in the protection and conservation of cultural
heritage items in recent years has an important role. The most complicated is the use of lasers in
cleaning items that have a multicomponent structure, such as, combination of metal and fabric.
This paper discusses the problem that appeared in the holdings of textiles Ethnographic Museum
in Belgrade. We presents the results of the effects of Nd:Yag laser cleaning of ethnographic textile
experimental samples with metallic threads. Cleaning effects was investigated by an optical and
scanning electronic microscopy (OM and SEM) and EDX analysis. Parameters for successful and
safe cleaning of corrosion products on the metal threads were determined for some exponats.

AB  - This paper presents the effects of laser light irradiation on the surface of ceramics dating from archaeological site Stubline (Obrenovac, Belgrade), Serbia. Two different pulsed lasers: TEA CO2 (10.6 μm wavelength, pulse duration tp = 100 ns) and Nd:YAG (wavelengths 1064 nm and 532 nm, tp = 150 ps) have been used for surfaces treatment. Laser irradiation fluence was in the range of 1–20 J/cm2. Ceramics surface modifications induced by pulsed laser treatment were examined by scanning electron microscope, SEM, and the composition with energy dispersive X-ray, EDX, analysis. The tests were performed in order to obtain as much as possible information about the appropriate choice of materials and techniques for the further conservation and restoration of these items. The second objective was to determine the surface modifications induced by pulsed laser treatment above damage threshold (a safe cleaning laser fluence), as an important parameter in the use of lasers for the cleaning of cultural ceramic items.

AB  - У раду су приказани резултати испитивања ефеката ласерског чишћења текстилних узорака са металним нитима, из фундуса Етнографског музеја у Београду. Корозионе промене на металним нитима су довеле до оштећења текстилног материјала. Примена класичних метода чишћења није дала очекиване резултате, па је примена ласерске технике била следећи корак. Коришћен је Nd:Yag ласер, енергије до 150 mJ за λ=1064 nm и 50 mJ за λ=532 nm и дужину импулса 150 ps. Такође је коришћен комерцијални, наменски ласерски систем „Thunder Art Laser“. Испитивање ефеката на озраченим зонама је вршено оптичком и скенирајућом електронском микроскопијом (OM и SEM) и EDX анализом. Одређени су параметри за успешно и безбедно чишћење корозионих продуката на металним нитима, на узорку сукања бојче, без деградације околног материјала.
AB  - The paper presents the results of an examination of the effects of laser cleaning of textile samples with metallic threads from the collection of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade. The corrosion of metal threads caused damage to the underlying textile material. The conventional cleaning methods did not produce the expected results, and the useo f laser technology was the next step. An Nd:Yag laser was used, 150 mJ at lambda = 1064 nm and 50 mJ at lambda= 532 nm, pulse length 150 ps. The commercial, special purpose laser system Laser Art Thunder was also used. The examination of effects on the irradiated  areas was carried out by optical and scanning electron microscopy (OM and SEM) and EDX analysis. Parameters were defined for the successful and safe cleaning of the corrosion products of the metal threads on the sample of a skirt Bojče, without  degradation of the surrounding material.
