AB - Comparative analysis of morphological and structural features of copper dendrites obtained by potentiostatic and galvanostatic regimes of electrolysis was made. The 3D (three dimensional) pine-like dendrites composed from stalk and corncob-like forms as branches, with the sharp tips of both stalk and branches, were obtained by the potentiostatic regime of electrolysis with all analyzed amounts of passed electricity. On the other hand, with increasing the amount of the passed electricity the shape of 3D pine-line dendrites obtained by the galvanostatic regime of electrolysis changed than those with the sharp tips of stalk and branches to those which the tips finished globules. Comparing with Cu deposits obtained at overpotentials which belonged to different types of electrodeposition control, it is concluded that overpotential at the end of passed amount of the electricity plays crucial role in the final shape of galvanostatically produced Cu dendrites. Irrespective of the shape of Cu dendrites, crystallites of copper were random oriented in the both types of dendrites.

AB - New biopolymers’ materials, suitable for the adsorption of noble metal ions, were synthesized by chemical and electrochemical modification of biopolymers. Optimization of cellulose acrylate synthesis by reaction with sodium cellulosate and acryloyl chloride was carried out. Optimal conditions for conducting the synthesis reaction of cellulose acrylate were as follows: the molar ratio of cellulose/potassium-t-butoxide/acryloyl chloride was 1:3:10 and the optimal reaction time was 10 h. On the basis of elemental analysis with optimal conditions for conducting the reaction of cellulose acrylate, the percentage of substitution of glucose units in cellulose was Y = 80.7%, and the degree of substitution of cellulose acrylate of DS = 2.4 was determined. The grafting reaction of acrylate vinyl monomers onto cellulose in acetonitrile with azoisobutyronitrile initiator in a nitrogen atmosphere was performed, by mixing for 5 h at acetonitrile boiling temperature. Radical copolymerizations of synthesized cellulose acrylate and 4-vinylpyridine, 1-vinylimidazole, 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone, 9-vinylcarbazole, cellulosepoly-4-vinylpyridine, cellulose-poly-1-vinylimidazole, cellulose-poly-1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone and cellulose-poly-9-vinylcarbazole were performed. Cellulose acrylate and cellulose grafted copolymers were confirmed by IR spectroscopy, based on
elementary analysis and the characteristics of grafted copolymers of cellulose were determined. The mass share of grafted copolymers, X, the relationship of derivative parts/cellulose vinyl group, Z, and the degree of grafting copolymers of cellulose (mass%) were determined. The grafed copolymers of cellulose with 4-vinylpyridine and 1-
vinylimidazole were reacted with methyl iodide and the corresponding 1 -
methylpyridinium iodide and 3-methylimidazolium iodide copolymers of cellulose were
obtained. Copolymers were transformed into new polymeric reagents, differing in anions
(ClO4-, CF3COO-, NO3-, p-TsO-, BF4-, PF6-) by usage of different supporting electrolyte carrying the desired anions through the ion-exchange-electrochemical oxidation of the released iodide at a controlled anodic potential. The thermal stability of cellulose and some of its grafed copolymers with 4-vinyl pyridine in ionic form were studied in nitrogen atmosphere by non-isothermal thermogravimetry in the temperature interval 50-800°C at heating rate of 10°C/min and 80°C/min. Comparasion of the obtained thermogravimetric curves indicated the different thermal stability of cellulose, cellulose-4- vinylpyridine and its ionic derivates. The starting cellulose sample has had the highest thermal stability, while the copolymers in ionic form started to degrade at lower temperatures. There were also differences in the amount of carbonaceous residues at 550°C and 760°C. Grafted copolymers of cellulose were synthesized and tested for sorption of gold and palladium from acid aqueous solutions. The following grafted copolymers cellulose-poly-4-vinyl-pyridine, cellulose-1-methyl-poly-4-vinyl-pyridinium iodide and cellulose-1-methyl-poly-4-vinyl pyridinium three fluoroacetate were synthesized. Characteristcs of grafted cellulose copolymers such as: capacity, degree of sorption in the solution from the process for copper electrolysis were determined. The quantity of gold and palladium were determined by atomic apsorption spectrophotometry. The degree of sorption of all samples of grafted copolymers was more than 99 mass %, indicating that the sorption was good and took place in a period of one hour. Cellulosepoly-4-vinyl-pyridine showed the selectivity due to sepatarion of Au and Pd in regard to Cu and Fe. The capacities of cellulose copolymers for Au and Pd sorptions were determined. Grafted cellulose copolymers suitable for sorption of gold have potential to be used in cancer nanotechnology. Optimization of cellulose acrylate synthesis has been applied as a model for the synthesis of the grafted copolymers of lignin and tannin with vinyl monomers and it can be applied on lignocellulose, starch, chitin, chitosan, proteins and peptides. Synthesis and characterization of electroconductive composite materials prepared by the compression molding of mixtures of lignocellulose and electrochemically deposited copper powder under different pressures is presented. Investigation of the influence of particle size on conductivity and percolation threshold of obtained composites was carried out. Electrodeposited copper powder content was varied from
2.0-29.8 vol. %. Analyses of the most significant properties of individual components and prepared composites included structural and morphological analysis and measurements of hardness and electrical conductivity. The significant increase of the electrical conductivity could be observed as the copper powder content reached the percolationthreshold. The packaging effect and effective interpartical contact with smaller, highly porous, highly dendritic particles with large values of specific area lead to “movement” of percolation threshold towards lower filler content, which for the particles <45 μm and highest processing pressure of 27 MPa was 7.2% (v/v). In the investigated range of electrodeposited copper powder concentrations and applied pressures, the increase of the electrical conductivity of composites was as much as fourteen orders of magnitude. It was
found that this transition occured at lower volume fractions for electrodeposited copper powder than stated in the literature which could be due to the filler with large specific area.

AB - The morphologies of copper dendritic forms obtained in both potentiostatic and galvanostatic regimes of electrolysis with various amounts of the electricity were analyzed by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique. Irrespective of amount of passed electricity, 3D (three dimensional) pine-like dendrites with sharp tips were formed in the potentiostatic regime of electrolysis. On the other hand, the amount of passed electricity had a strong effect on the shape of the 3D pine-like dendrites formed in the galvanostatic regime of electrolysis. Dendrites with sharp tips were formed with smaller amount of passed electricity, while dendrites with globular tips were formed with larger amounts. The change in the shape of the galvanostatically synthesized 3D pine-like dendrites was explained by comparison with copper deposits obtained potentiostatically at overpotentials that corresponded to the final overpotentials during galvanostatic regime of electrolysis for the analyzed amounts of electricity. Based on the similarity of the obtained morphologies at the macro level, it was concluded that the overpotential plays a crucial role in the formation of the electrolytically synthesized dendrites and that the controlled conditions of electrolysis could represent a suitable way for a synthesis of spherical Cu particles by electrolysis.

AB - This manuscript presents the results of investigating the properties of composite materials having poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) matrix filled with electrolytically produced copper powder whose particles have a highly developed branched structure. The volume fraction of the copper powder used as a filler for the preparation of the composite was varied from 0.4 to 7.2 vol. %. The samples were prepared at 140 °C by hot molding injection. The effect of the morphology of electrolytically obtained copper powder on the appearance of the percolation threshold and on the conductivity of the composites was studied. Characterization included impedance spectroscopy (IS) measurement of electric conductivity and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and Fourier-transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) morphological analysis. Electric conductive pathways were formed throughout the entire volume of the composites, where their formation was purely stochastic in all the dimensions. The percolation threshold was 2.72 vol.%, which is significantly lower than the one stated in the literature for similar composites, since these kind of composites are investigated for the first time. This property can be attributed to the use of a filler of different, diverse morphologies.

AB - The results of experimental studies of the properties of composite materials based on Poly (lactic
acid) (PLA) and Poly (3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) matrices filled with electrolytic copper powder,
having very high dendritic structure, are presented in this manuscript. Copper powder volume
fractions used as filler in all prepared composites were varied in the range of 0.5-6.0 %(v/v). The
samples were prepared by hot molding injection at 170°C. Influence of particle size and morphology,
as well as influence of matrix type on the conductivity and percolation threshold of the composites
were examined and characterization included: Electrical conductivity measurements using
Impedance Spectroscopy (IS), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray
spectroscopy (EDS) and Fourier-transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Presence of three
dimensional conductive pathways was confirmed. The obtained percolation threshold of 2.83 %(v/v)
for PLA and 3.13 %(v/v) for PHB composites was measured, which is about three times lower than
the one stated in the literature for similar composites. This property is ascribed to different
morphology of filler used in investigation.

AB - Aim of this work was to determine influence of current density on the roughness of the
electrodeposited zinc coatings. Electrodeposition carried out from two same solutions containing
different brightening additives. Furfural (in solution I) and dextrin (in solution II) were used as
additives. Influences of the thickness of the coatings on the surface roughness depending of the
current density and time of deposition and effect of the added additives on the structure of the coatings
were also studied.
Electrodeposition of the zinc coatings was done galvanostatically at current densities of 1, 2 and 4 A
dm-2. Times of electrodeposition were 10, 20 and 30 minutes. Pure zinc was used as anode, and steel
with unknown composition was used as cathode. All experiments were done at room temperature,
baths volume were 500 cm3.
Obtained results show that zinc coatings obtained from solution II have lower roughness than those
deposited from solution I. Current density and thickness of the coatings does not have large influence
on the roughness. The roughness values are from 0.41 μm to 1.219 μm (solution I) and from 0.316
μm to 0.812 μm (solution II). Current efficiency in solution I is 92.98-94.55% and in solution II 91.5-
96.91%. Coatings from solution II have better structure compared to coatings obtained from solution
I, so it can be concluded that dextrin is better brightening additive than furfural in used sulphate
baths.

AB - Lead and nickel powder particles were produced by the processes of electrolysis and characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis of the produced particles was done. Morphologies of Pb and Ni particles were correlated with their crystal structure at the semi quantitative level by determination of 'Texture Coefficients' (TC) and 'Relative Texture Coefficient' (RTC). The two dimensional (2D) dendritic particles of lead of different degree of ramification were obtained by the potentiostatic regime of electrolysis from the nitrate, acetate and hydroxide electrolyte. The spongy-like particles of nickel constructed from holes formed of the detached hydrogen bubbles and surrounded by cauliflower-like agglomerates of approximately spherical grains (the honeycomb-like structure) were obtained by the galvanostatic regime of electrolysis from the chloride electrolyte. Although crystallites were dominantly oriented in the (111) plane in both Pb and Ni particles, analysis of the XRD data showed different preferred orientation of the formed particles. All types of Pb dendritic particles showed the strong (111) preferred orientation, while crystallites of Ni in the spongy-like particles were almost random oriented. The obtained results were discussed following Winand's classification of metals on the normal, intermediate and inert metals based on their values of the exchange current density, melting point and overpotential for hydrogen evolution reaction.
Svi tipovi olovnih dendritičnih čestica su pokazali strogu (111) dominantnu orijentaciju, dok kristaliti nikla u sunđerastim česticama su bili skoro slučajno orijentisani. abstract = "Lead and nickel powder particles were produced by the processes of electrolysis and characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The obtained results were discussed following Winand's classification of metals on the normal, intermediate and inert metals based on their values of the exchange current density, melting point and overpotential for hydrogen evolution reaction., Čestice praha olova i nikla proizvedene su procesima elektrolize i okarakterisane skenirajućim elektronskim mikroskopom. Urađena je i rendgeno-strukturna analiza dobijenih čestica. Morfologije čestica olova i nikla su korelisane sa njihovom kristalnom strukturom na polukvantitativnom nivou određivanjem 'Teksturnog koeficijenta' (TC) i 'Relativnog teksturnog koeficijenta' (RTC). Dvodimen- zionalne (2D) dendritične čestice olova različitog stepena razgranatosti dobijene su potenciostatskim režimom elektrolize iz nitratnog, acetatnog i hidroksilnog elektrolita. Čestice nikla sunđerastog oblika u čijoj strukturi se uočavaju rupe formirane odvajanjem mehurova vodonika okružene karfiolastim aglomeratima približno sferičnih zrna (struktura pčelinjeg saća) dobijene su galvanostatskim režimom elektrolize iz hloridnog elektrolita. AB - The results of experimental studies of the properties of composite materials based on poly(methylmetacrylate) (PMMA) matrices filled with electrolytic copper powder, having very high dendritic structure, are presented in this manuscript. Copper powder volume fractions used as filler in all prepared composites were varied in the range of 0.5 - 8.8 %(v/v). The samples were prepared by hot molding injection at 180 degrees C. Influence of particle size and morphology on the conductivity and percolation threshold and thermal properties of the composites were examined and characterization included: Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Atomic Forces Microscopy (AFM). Composites have shown improvement of thermal characteristics in relation to pure polymer. Presence of three dimensional conductive pathways was confirmed. The obtained percolation threshold of 2.89 %(v/v) is about three times lower than the one stated in the literature, which is ascribed to different morphology of filler used in investigation.

AB - Morphologies of silver powder particles obtained by chemical and electrochemical processes of
synthesis were correlated with their crystal structure. Reduction with hydrazine was used for the
synthesis of Ag powder by the chemical process. The different kinds of electrolytes (the nitrate and
the ammonium ones), regimes of electrolysis (the galvanostatic and the potentiostatic ones) and
overpotentials of the electrodeposition were used for production of Ag powders by electrolysis.
Morphologies of synthesized particles strongly depended on the method of synthesis and conditions of electrolysis. Agglomerates of approximately spherical grains were formed with hydrazine as the reducing agent. In the dependence of conditions and regimes of electrolysis, various forms of dendritic particles, such as the needle-like, fern-like and pine-like dendrites, were formed. The preferred orientation of Ag particles changed from the strong (111) preferred orientation for the Ag particles obtained by the electrolysis from the nitrate electrolyte in the galvanostatic regime and at the overpotential outside plateau of the limiting diffusion current density to almost random oriented Ag crystallites for chemically synthesized particles and the pine-like particles obtained from the ammonium electrolyte by the galvanostatic and those produced by the potentiostatic regime outside plateau of the limiting diffusion current density.

AB - Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is the most suitable biocompatible material for bone implant coatings. However, its brittleness is a major obstacle, and that is why, recently, research focused on creating composites. In this study, a novel in situ synthesis of HAp coating on titanium was presented. HAp was anaphoretically deposited from alkaline-ethanol suspension in one step process. Morphology of the coating was investigated by optical microscopy, while deposited HAp was characterized using ATR-FTIR. It was concluded that HAp has excellent coverage of the surface without delamination. The obtained coating can be good material for bone implants due to solving HAp brittleness.

Morphology of the coating was investigated by optical microscopy , while deposited HAp was characterized using ATR-FTIR. It was concluded that HAp has excellent coverage of the surface without delamination. The obtained coating can be good material for bone implants due to solving HAp brittleness.

AB - Magnesium underpotential deposition on gold electrodes from magnesium nitrate-ammonium nitrate melts has been investigated. Linear sweep voltammetry and potential step were used as electrochemical techniques. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used for characterization of obtained electrode surfaces. It was observed that reduction processes of nitrate, nitrite and traces of water (when present), in the Mg underpotential range studied, proceeded simultaneously with magnesium underpotential deposition. There was no clear evidence of Mg/Au alloy formation induced by Mg UPD from the melt made from eutectic mixture [Mg(NO3)(2).6H(2)O + NH4NO3.XH2O]. However, EDS and XRD analysis showed magnesium present in the gold substrate and four different Mg/Au alloys being formed as a result of magnesium underpotential deposition and interdiffusion between Mg deposit and Au substrate from the melt made of a nonaqueous [Mg(NO3)(2) + NH4NO3] eutectic mixture at 460 K.

AB - The processes of lead and zinc electrodeposition from the very dilute electrolytes were compared by the analysis of polarization characteristics and by the scanning electron microscopic (SEM) analysis of the morphology of the deposits obtained in the galvanostatic regime of electrolysis. The exchange current densities for lead and zinc were estimated by comparison of experimentally obtained polarization curves with the simulated ones obtained for the different the exchange current density to the limiting diffusion current density ratios. Using this way for the estimation of the exchange current density, it is shown that the exchange current density for Pb was more than 1300 times higher than the one for Zn. In this way, it is confirmed that the Pb electrodeposition processes are considerably faster than the Zn electrodeposition processes. The difference in the rate of electrochemical processes was confirmed by a comparison of morphologies of lead and zinc deposits obtained at current densities which corresponded to 0.25 and 0.50 values of the limiting diffusion current densities.

AB - This study focused on testing the efficacy of iron (Fe) electrode in an electrochemical treatment (electrocoagulation) of wastewater containing a mixture of organic dyes. The mixture consists of the following azo dyes: Acid Black 194, Acid Black 107 and Acid Yellow 116. The present organic dyes are toxic, cause skin and eye irritation and are extremely dangerous to aquatic organisms. The study was conducted on a synthetic wastewater prepared in a laboratory electrochemical reactor. During the research, the impact of the current density, various concentrations of dye and supporting electrolyte, electrolysis duration and pulsed current regime were tracked. The results are shown through color removal efficiency, chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency, current efficiency, and specific energy consumption. At the initial concentration of dye (gamma=200 mg/L) and concentration of supporting electrolyte (gamma(NaCl)=1 g/L) the color removal efficiency of 80.64% was achieved for 420 seconds of treatment (J=10 mA/cm(2)). At the initial concentration of dye (gamma=50 mg/L) and gamma(NaCl)=8 g/L, the color removal efficiency of 96.01% was attained for 300 seconds of treatment (j=10 mA/cm(2)).

AB - This article is concerned with synthesis and characterization of electroconductive composite materials prepared by hot molding of mixtures of PMMA and electrochemically deposited copper powder and investigation of the influence of particle morphology on conductivity and percolation threshold of obtained composites and thermal characteristics. Electrodeposited copper powder content was varied from 0.5-8.8 vol%. Analysis of the most significant properties of individual components and prepared composites included structural analysis and measurements of electrical conductivity. The significant increase of the electrical conductivity can be observed as the copper powder content reaches the percolation threshold at 2.98 vol%. In the investigated range of electrodeposited copper powder concentrations and applied pressures the increase of the electrical conductivity of composites is as much as sixteen orders of magnitude. It was found that this transition occurs at lower volume fractions than stated in the literature which can be due to the filler with high specific area.

AB - In this manuscript the results of experimental studies of the properties of composite materials based on lignocellulosic (LC) and poly(methylmethacrylate) matrices filled with electrolytic copper powder are presented. Volume fractions of metal fillers in composite materials and tested samples were varied in the range of 0.5-29.8% (v/v), and the samples were prepared by compression - cold pressing and molding. Characterization included examination of the influence of particle size and morphology on the conductivity and percolation threshold of the composites using a variety of testing techniques: SEM, TGA, AFM. Thermal analysis of the prepared composites showed the improvement of the thermal characteristics of the composites. This was due to the presence of the metallic fillers, which are very good thermal conductors, hence accumulating the heat emitted during TGA measurements primary to matrix, whether it was lignocellulosic or PMMA. Presence of three dimensional conductive pathways was confirmed.

Presence of three dimensional conductive pathways was confirmed.",

AB - The results of experimental studies of the properties of composite materials based on lignocellulosic (LC) and poly(methylmetacrylate) matrices filled with electrolytic copper powder are presented. Volume fractions of metal fillers in composite materials and tested samples were varied in the range of 0.5-29.8 % (v / v). Characterization included examination of the influence of particle size and morphology on the conductivity and percolation threshold of the composites using SEM and AFM. Presence of three dimensional conductive pathways was confirmed.
EDS measurements (Figure 1) show the existence of copper conductive pathways throughout the composites volumes. Due to the packaging effect and more pronounced interparticle contact with smaller, highly porous, highly dendritic particles with high values of specific area lead to "movement" of percolation threshold towards lower filler content. This feature can be observed on both on Figure 1 and Figure 2. Figure 2 presents AFM image of the PMMA and LC composite surfaces after breaking. These pathways are formed in 3D in a pure random order.
The results showed that the shape and morphology of the copper powder, and filler at all, play a significant role in the phenomenon of electrical conductivity of the prepared samples and the appearance percolation threshold. The particles with highly developed free surface and dendritic and highly branched structure, such as galvanostatically obtained copper powder particles can easier form interparticle contacts at lower filler volume fractions than particles with more regular surface.
When two different matrices are compared, slight advantage can be given to PMMA since the percolation threshold is at lower value. However, lignocellulose is biodegradable, green matrix, and it comes from abundant, sustainable resource, and it can be used for green composite production.

AB - This paper is concerned with surface characterization of composite materials based on lignocellulosic (LC) matrix filled with electrolytic copper powder and chemically obtained silver powder. Volume fractions of metal fillers in composite materials and tested samples were varied in the range of 1.6-29.8 % (v / v) . Characterization included examination of the influence of particle size and morphology on the conductivity and percolation threshold of the composites using IS and AFM. The packaging effect and more pronounced interpartical contact with dendritic copper powder particles lead to "movement" of percolation threshold , which for the particles < 45 μm and highest processing pressure of 27 MPa was 7.2 % (v / v). IS response of the composites showed existence of electrical conductive layers , each having different resistivity that increases towards interior of the composite.
AFM measurements (Figure 1) show the existence of silver and copper conductive pathways throughout the composites volumes. Copper powder has more developed surface area than chemically obtained silver powder. Hence, the end of dendritic arms is more pronounced on the surface. This feature can be observed on Figure 1a, where roughness of the sample is greater than on Figure 1b. Figure 1b presents AFM image of the LC-Ag composite surface after breaking. Figure 2 presents Surface of LC matrix without the presence of conductive filler. It can be observed that the surface and its roughness differs from the composite ones. All of the conductive pathways are formed in 3D in a pure random order.

AB - Composites based on natural polymers with conductive fillers have been gaining more and more significant roles in a variety of technological domains. These polymers with addition of electrochemically obtained conductive materials can be directly used as contemporary materials. This article is concerned with the preparation and characterization of the basic components: electrodeposited copper powder and lignocellulose ( LC ) as well as composite materials prepared by the compression molding of LC and galvanostatically obtained copper powder mixtures. Analysis of the most significant properties of individual components and prepared composites included quantitative structural analysis, morphological analysis, determination of density and porosity and measurements of electrical conductivity. Different investigation techniques including SEM, TGA, DSC, X-ray, FTIR, particle size distribution and conductivity
measurements were used.
Results have shown that the powder has very high surface area and it has pronounced dendrite branching with well-developed primary and secondary dendrite arms. The conductivity measurements showed S-shaped dependency with percolation transition from non-conductive to conductive region, typical for such polymer composite materials. The electrical conductivity of the composites is < 10-15 MS/m unless the metal content reaches the percolation threshold of 14.4% ( v/v ), beyond which the conductivity increases markedly by as much as 14 orders of magnitude. It was found that this transition occurs at lower volume fractions than stated in the literature, which can be due to the filler with high specific area. This research has undoubtedly shown that galvanostatically obtained copper powder plays significant role with its indented area in formation of greater number of contacts with smaller volume fractions. In this manner the value of percolation threshold is lowered.

AB - In this manuscript the results of experimental studies of the properties of composite materials based on lignocellulosic (LC) and poly(methylmethacrylate) matrices filled with electrolytic copper powder are presented. Volume fractions of metal fillers in composite materials and tested samples were varied in the range of 0.5-29.8% (v/v), and the samples were prepared by compression and molding. Characterization included examination of the conductivity and percolation threshold of the composites using a variety of testing techniques: SEM, TGA, AFM.

AB - Due to the increasing concern of experts and scientists on environmental protection use of environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors for metal protection gains more interest. In this paper, research on copper protection by processing corrosive environment while applying different concentrations of sage extract of 0.5g/dm3,1 g/dm3 i 1.5g/dm3 as green inhibitor in 3% NaCl solution was performed. Measurements were carried out by gravimetric method and electrochemical methods (Tafel extrapolation method and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy). The greatest protective values of sage extract of 60,04% were reached in 3%NaCl + 1 g/dm3 solution and 53% 3%NaCl + 1,5 g/dm3 solution in 6 hours interval. However, the same solutions act catalytically on copper corrosion process during time interval from 4 to 24 hours, that is why sage extract can not be recommended as inhibitor of copper corrosion in 3%NaCl. The results obtained by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and recorded Tafel polarization diagrams, confirm results attained by gravimetric method, thus can be recommended as very reliable methods for quick corrosion tests.
