The application of modified macroporous poly(GMA-co-EGDMA) in the metal ions sorption from aqueous solutions
Primena modifikovanog makroporoznog poli(GMA-co-EGDMA) kopolimera u sorpciji jona metala iz vodenih rastvora

Macro porous cross linked poly(GMA-co-EGDMA) copolymer synthesized by radical suspension copolywerization was modified by ring-opening reaction of the pendant epoxy groups with ethylene diamine, EDA. Sorption capacities and selectivity for Cu2*, Ccr+ and' Nf¥ ions were determined under non-competitive conditions as a function of pH and porosity parameters of synthesized samples. Selectivity of modified copolymer for Cif+, Ccr+ i Nf+ ions as a function of pH, as well as the possibility of selective removal of platinum from mixed solutions with copper ions were determined under competitive conditions.
Makroporoznipoli(GMA-co-EGDMA) kopolimer sintetizovan je suspenzionom kopolimerizacijom, a zatim modifikovan sa etilendiaminom. Ispitana je sorpciona sposobnost i selektivnost modifikovanog kopolimera za jone bakra, kobalta, nikla i platine. Brzina sorpcije i kapacitet modifikovanog kopolimera za Cif", Ccr+ i Nf* jone određeni su pri nekompetitivnim uslovima u zavisnosti od parametara porozne strukture ispitivanih uzoraka i pH rastvora iz koga se vrši sorpcija. Pri kompetitivnim uslovima ispitana je selektivnost modifikovanog kopolimera prema jonima Cif', Cer* i Nf+ u zavisnosti od pH, kao i mogućnost selektivnog izdvajanja jona platine iz mešanog rastvora sa jonima bakra.
